BEHIND THE LENS

Born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida during the Golden Age. First camera was an Instamatic, shot 12 rolls on summer trip to Europe at 16. Graduated near the bottom of a very accomplished senior class. Survived the 60s and 70s mostly intact, grabbing a degree from Florida State along the way. Carved a niche in SoFla film industry working primarily as a location scout and production manager on commercials, feature films and large-scale still photography. Shot tons of panoramic photographs and documentary video, many of places no longer existing. "Retired" after 25 years of high stress and short-notice travel to begin new career teaching high school TV production. Former students are now showing up on television across the US, working at stations in Mississippi, California and Miami, as well as in commercial and motion picture production in New York City. Adobe certified in Photoshop and Premiere.
